JobToFive operates as a licensed recruitment agency in Malaysia and provides an online marketplace that connects employers with jobseekers. These terms apply to all users of the JobToFive platform, including employers, recruiters, and candidates.
1. What personal information do we collect?
The information JobToFive collects depends on how you interact with us. Basic information collected from every user includes your name and email address.
For employers and recruiters, we collect your company name, business registration details (such as SSM number), business and billing address, phone number, sector, company size, the name and contact details of a primary contact, and any supporting business documents you upload.
For candidates, we collect the details you choose to provide in your profile or application, including resume details, work history, qualifications, salary expectations, and location preferences. You may also submit additional information via resumes, cover letters, or certificates.
In most cases, we do not need to collect sensitive personal information. Please avoid including sensitive data (such as identity card numbers, health information, or religious beliefs) in your public profile or resume.
2. How do we collect your personal information?
JobToFive collects information directly from you during registration, account usage, job posting, application, and general browsing of our platform. We may also collect information from:
- Service providers and recruitment partners we work with;
- Third-party authentication providers (such as Google) when you sign in;
- Government or regulatory authorities where we are legally required to verify information; and
- Publicly available sources, such as professional profiles you have chosen to make public.
3. How do we use your personal information?
JobToFive uses your personal information to:
- Deliver, maintain, and improve our services and products;
- Match candidates with relevant job opportunities and deliver smart-match results to employers;
- Verify employer accounts, process payments, and manage subscription or credit-based features;
- Send you service updates and, where you have consented, to market and promote products and services offered by JobToFive;
- Prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with our legal obligations under Malaysian law.
4. Who do we share your personal information with?
JobToFive may share your personal information with:
- Employers and recruiters when you apply for their jobs or when you have enabled candidate discovery;
- Candidates who view public job listings or company profiles;
- Service providers that help us operate the platform, including hosting, email delivery, payment processing (e.g. Stripe), analytics, and customer support;
- Government or regulatory bodies when required by law or to protect our legal rights; and
- Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of JobToFive's business.
JobToFive does not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers and infrastructure partners are located outside Malaysia. Your information may be processed or stored in countries such as Singapore, the United States, or the European Union. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure that your information is handled in accordance with this notice and applicable data protection laws.

If you have a public candidate profile, you may change its visibility at any time. Please note that information cached by independent third-party platforms (such as search engines) may remain accessible outside our control.

JobToFive takes reasonable steps to ensure the security of our systems and to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services, meet our legal obligations, or until you request deletion.
8. Acceptable use
By using JobToFive, you agree that you will not:
- Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information during registration or job posting;
- Post discriminatory, unlawful, or fraudulent job advertisements;
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the JobToFive platform;
- Use the platform to send unsolicited communications or spam; or
- Infringe the rights of other users or third parties.
JobToFive reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that breaches these terms, and to remove content that violates our policies or applicable law.
9. Billing and credits
Paid subscriptions and credit top-ups are processed through our payment partner Stripe. Credits issued under an employer plan are non-refundable except where required by law. JobToFive may update pricing or plan features from time to time, with notice provided through the platform.
10. Changes to these terms
JobToFive may update this Collection Notice and Terms & Conditions from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you through the platform or by email. Your continued use of JobToFive after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
