Full Description
Our client, a well-established optical retail and eye care provider, is looking for a qualified and customer-focused Optometrist to join their team in Miri Sarawak. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting eye examinations, diagnosing vision problems, and providing professional advice on appropriate optical solutions. You will also play an important role in delivering excellent customer service by helping customers choose suitable eyewear and ensuring a positive in-store experience. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about eye care, attentive to detail, and enjoy interacting with customers in a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
- Diagnose visual conditions and recommend appropriate solutions (glasses, contact lenses)
- Provide professional advice on eye health and proper lens care
- Assist customers in selecting suitable frames and lenses
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry standards
Requirements
- •Good communication and interpersonal skills
- •Customer-oriented with a friendly and professional approach
- •Detail-oriented and able to handle clinical responsibilities accurately
- •Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- •Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
- •Experience in optical retail or eye care industry is an advantage
- •Registered with the Malaysian Optical Council (MOC) is preferred
